Join us for a Men’s Retreat hosted by the Alliance Southern District and Poplar Point Camp.  The 2020 speaker is Eddie DeJesus who will be bringing messages based on the theme of “Trophies of Grace.” Our worship leader will be Chris Hayes.

New this year, we will be meeting through Sunday morning. Plus, in addition to our times of teaching and worship, we will have a laser tag tournament, open gym, and times of fellowship. We will have an optional Saturday afternoon activity of a Golf outing at World Renowned Farm Links At Pursell Farms (A normal round is $100 but we have a special rate of $50!) Learn more at

Eddie DeJesus was a soldier and a NYC police officer by trade but a pastor by heart. Joining the Army at 17 and honorably discharged as a sergeant. He served as a police officer with the NYPD and took early retirement to pursue God’s call as a bi-vocational church planting pastor for the past 20 years. Eddie served for 3 years as the Executive Director of New Life Association of Churches (a church planting movement in NYC and overseas) as well as the Chaplain of the NY Mets. He planted a Church in NYC under Pastor Pete Scazzero. Eddie is working on his 6th church plant [launching in southwest Florida in 2020]. He also currently serves as the S.E. Regional Church Multiplication Coordinator for the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Eddie & Norma will be celebrating 33 years of marriage and have 3 adult sons.

How does this golf option work?

We have arranged a chance for the Men who wish play a round at the famed FarmLinks golf course at Pursell Farms. The tee times for our group will begin at 1:30. Cart is included in the price; however, you will need your own clubs. (it is about a 30 min drive from camp, we hope to get a carpool together)

We are allowed to play as much golf as we want before dark. Depending on your pace you can finish 18 or enjoy the fellowship and scenery. More information at or farm

I cannot stay through Sunday, should I still come? (or I cannot come till later)

Of course, we understand that some will have responsibilities at their home Church or other obligation that will prevent them from coming the who time or arriving late. We believe that God can still impact you with the time you will be present for the worship and fellowship.

I have a special dietary need. What should I do?

Simply use the contact us form on this page to let us know what we need to know. We can avoid most food allergies and intolerances. However, if you are sensitive or react badly, you might want to bring your own food. We have a refrigerator prepared for such circumstances.

Can I register through the mail?

Sure, just email us via the contact us form and we will send you the form you will need to complete.
