Counselor Requirements

• Be a Christian for at least one year by event start date,
• Be at least 18 years old, except for lifeguards, audio/visual team
• Complete an Online Application (complete form below),
• Obtain Two (2) Letters of Recommendation:
  1. From a leader of your church,
  2. From another adult, i.e. Ministry Leader or adult with whom you are close (not your family or peer)
• Complete an interview
• Complete no-cost Background (after the interview a separate form will be emailed to you from Poplar Point Camp, check your spam folder).

For the summer of 2022, we are hiring four weeks of counselors. Each week will pay $200 .
