RENTAL INFORMATION
Our camp is available for rental for groups when not in use for our own programming. Located in the wonderful Coosa County near the start of the Pinhoti Trail and Flagg Mountain, our camp is the perfect spot for your church, youth group, college group, or organization to get away for a retreat or conference!

HOW TO MAKE A RENTAL RESERVATION
Thank you for considering Poplar Point Christian Camp to host your event! To make a rental reservation request, please check our calendar to make sure your desired dates are available, then click the “RENTAL REQUEST FORM” button below or call the camp. Once you submit a rental request, you will receive a quote. Once the quote is agreed upon, you will receive an email with your login and password to our Rental Dashboard.
Please Note: Reservations are only secured upon the camp’s receiving of the rental deposit and a signed contract.
FOR NEW RENTAL INQUIRIES:
DEPOSIT, REFUNDS, & CANCELLATION INFORMATION
As our booking and availability is based on individual requests, we will not be able to discount reductions in numbers due to cancellations, lack of reaching expected turnout, or if the retreat is canceled altogether for issues outside of the camp’s control. We can, however, add numbers as late as 7 days prior to the start of the retreat. Updated invoices will be sent as changes are made, and the balance is to be paid upon the start of the retreat.
All deposits are non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your retreat and roll your deposit to a later date if requested at least 4 months out from your retreat’s original start date.
COVID-19 Disclaimer: Should your retreat be canceled due to a government mandate, you will be reimbursed in full.
RATES
We’re so excited about your group staying with us at Poplar Point Christian Camp! We try and keep our rental rates as low as possible because we understand that planning group retreats can get expensive! Our price breakdown is listed below, and includes a place for your group to sleep, a place for your group to meet, and a place for your group to eat. All camp activities (other than the use of the swimming pool, laser tag, archery and team challenge course (low ropes course)) are included in the price as well.

GROUP SIZE
We have a minimum rental group size of 30 if you want us to cook. If you are cooking for your own group, the minimum is 15. You are welcome to book with less than 15 in attendance, but you will have to pay for 15 attendees.
If you’re unsure the exact size of your group, put the minimum amount you can guarantee on your Rental Request Form. We can always add on numbers (within reason and space availability!) leading up to your retreat. However, due to the way in which we reserve dates based on group sizes, we are unable to reduce your headcount/cost lower than the number on your original Rental Request Form.
MEALS
Don’t let the stress of cooking take you or your leaders away from time that could be spent making a difference in the lives of your students Our kitchen cook meals from scratch and are often rated as the best camp meals they have ever had. We will work with you to pick the menu, and we usually can provide options for those with food allergies! Plus, we consider it way of serving you – that’s why we keep our meal costs so low!
Because of scheduling during the school season, we find that most weekend rental groups typically arrive Friday evening after dinner and leave either Saturday after lunch (for one-night rentals), or Sunday after breakfast (for two-night rentals). Because of this, our per person rental rate including meals includes 2 meals for one-night rentals, and 4 meals for two-night rentals. Additional meals can be purchased at the rate listed below! If you choose to have us provide meals for your group, just let us know what your scheduling plans are, and we will make sure that meals are provided when you want them!
ADDITIONAL MEAL RATES
- Breakfast: $5.50 per person
- Lunch: $6.50 per person
- Dinner: $7.50 per person
ADDITIONAL EXPENSES (OPTIONAL)
* Additional Cabin usage fee: $200 (Flat Rate per cabin) – this is for groups who want to spread out.
^ Kitchen usage fee of $200 if your group cooks yourself.
Laser tag $150 per hour. (up to 12 can play at a time.)
Snow cones is total of group number times $1 (must be all of group)
Day guest user are $5 per person per day. (Drop off or pick up campers do not count as day user)
Archery $20 an hour
Team Challenges in gym $50 for two hours per group (with a maximum of 12 per group)
Each lifeguard is $20 an hour before 7pm and after 7pm it is $24 per hour; they get paid for the time they are on camp grounds. Understand, we hire lifeguards for specific times and cannot be changed because of the weather or if your group is late to pool sessions. (Must be booked a month ahead of time)
*Additional charges may occur with damage to the property, excessive mess (paint, glitter, etc.), or missing items.
Activity pricing is subject to change based on scheduling & activity pricing for rentals in the months of June, and July will vary.
