Accomodations

Grove

The Grove consists of 4 sleeping areas that can sleep 17 guests each (5 Triple twin bunks and two twin “counselor” beds) with a total of 68 beds. Each room comes complete with its own bathrooms and showers and is heated and cooled by a mini-split HVAC system.
Forest

Forest is Poplar Point Camp’s largest single cabin for groups. It can sleep up to 96 people and it has a combination of single beds, double bunk beds, and triple bunk beds. Forest can be separated in two by a lockable door with a bank of bathrooms on each side or be used as one big dorm. It is heated and cooled by a combination of a central HVAC unit and a mini-split HVAC system.
Redwood

This three-bedroom cabin sleeps 12-15 guests with 3 full beds, 3 twin bunks, and 3 single twin beds spread across three individual rooms. It comes complete with a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and sink and is heated and cooled by a central HVAC unit.

In addition to our dorms and cabin we have plenty of space to rough it… or “Glamp”. Whatever suits you, we are here to accommodate. We have several RV sites with water, sewer, and power plus Wi-Fi throughout camp. Come set up and relax in your style!

RENTAL REQUEST

We understand that planning group retreats can get expensive, so we try to keep our rental rates as low as possible! Our rates are based on a 30-person minimum. However, we welcome groups of all sizes. Our price breakdown is listed below and includes a place for your group to sleep, meet, and eat. Our camp is unique in that we can offer a private experience for your group. Unless otherwise arranged and agreed upon, your group will be the only one on the property and you are in charge of the schedule. You tell us what you need as far as meal times, snack shack, and your schedule, and we make it happen for you. The prices listed are a guideline and vary depending on the amount of nights, meals, and add-ons. Click ‘RENTAL REQUEST’ for a more accurate quote based on your group’s needs.

GROUP RATES *A minimum of 30 spots must be paid for to rent the camp unless otherwise arranged with the director, and approved by Poplar Point’s board of directors.

Dormitory Style Lodging

1-2 nights $35 per night per person

3-4 nights $30 per night per person

5+ nights $25 per night per person

For group sizes 75-99, a 10% discount will be applied. For group sizes 100-124, a 15% discount will be applied. For groups 125+, a 20% discount will be applied.

$25 Per RV per night for RV stays for 1-4 people ($5 per additional person per night)

$15 Per tent per night for tent stays for 1-4 people ($5 per additional person per night)

$10 Per meal per person

*If your group chooses to cook their meals a $350 kitchen usage fee will be applied to your final bill.

*Additional housing can be opened for $250 per cabin or dorm. (If you have 75 people or more, additional housing will automatically be available to you.)

*Unless otherwise arranged, groups will enjoy being the only group on the property. (From time to time, we have groups using our pool, gym, or recreation field for a couple of hours. However, our overnight rental groups take priority in scheduling. We will ensure that your schedule is accommodated before booking any day usage at the camp. Furthermore, you will be informed of exactly who will be on the property and when. If there is a conflict, we will not book them.)
